DH and I usually start planning what we want in our garden sometime in February. Where, in the garden, we'll plant. We try to rotate things every couple of years, so all the nutrients and stuff don't get depleted. DH refuses to plant unless the moon is in the right place of the body for planting. We use a Farmer's Almanac or calendar, and because he plants by the moon, we generally have a really nice garden. We don't go so much by the moon for flower planting, but I have to wonder if I'd have better luck with flowers if we did.
