Indian horoscope

I wish I could show you the page, but it was written in German.

This was about totem animals, like a birth totem, a directional totem and a clan totem - all based on the date of your birth. They also mentioned the name of Kenneth Meadows.

Do any of you know more about this?

Re: Indian horoscope

Are these links similar to what you found?
I know that some of the information out there is not as accurate as it could or should be it seems that the Native American Religons and customs are being market for a profit and much of the teachings are being redone to fit the buyers needs rather than traditons.

However, there is so basis of truth to the information. I have been told it is a good starting point.

Thanks, Playfultree.

I looked around some more, and basically it comes down to this list (although the German text had more explanations:

]Native American Zodiac

Does this work out for you? (I'm a woodpecker person, btw.)

edit: Another one is here, with more explanations: ]Horoscope

According to these, I am a Goose, but since I was born late, I actually fit more closely to an Owl.
This is cool!!!

Well, I seem to be center of Salmon.

Which is Leo usually and there are aspects in both versions that match.

Neat.

Re: Indian horoscope

I have to admit I found it very interesting. And Woodpecker fit me better than most other zodiacs.

Re: Indian horoscope

The reference to the work of Kenneth Meadows, would be to his book "Earth Medicine" ISBN 0 7607 0285 3.

"Earht Medicine is a method of personality-profiling which connects the individual with the potential powers that lie within"

I have found not only this book, but all his works to be very interesting.

Hey Beech!!! emoticon Long time no see!
How have you been???

I may have to see if I can find that one book you mentioned. Since being so sick, I've been doing a lot of reading, and I've just about run out of new things to read. That one sounds rather interesting.
