Re: Rambling Thought/Question

Thanks for explaining, Ranting.

What you said is close to what I believe, except that I have a hard time believing in one ruling deiety. If you were to say that God is Life, then I'm totally with you.

Re: Rambling Thought/Question

I did't say "rule" in reference to God. I simply said that there is a Supreme Being (neither and both male and female)that created our universe and all life and matter within it. God also created the angels and the demons (angels who rebelled out of hubris)who were created before our universe and who exist both within and outside of our space time continuum. God is a hands off Deity. God loves all equally from microbes to humanity to extraterrestrials, angels and even demons and the Devil and so will not interfere. The Devil on the other hand is allowed to "rule" in Hell becuase God allows it. God allows any who will submit to the wisdom and love of God into Heaven. Religion is a concept of man and is meaningless to God. If you (Sie, nicht du)want to belong to a given religion, and that helps you in your path to God, then fine. If not, and you can still ultimately accept God's will, then that's fine too. All are invited, but only some are willing to stay. Only those who refuse Heaven will go to Hell. Some souls chose to go the Hell because they want more in Heaven than what is alloted them. They foolishly think they can forge a better existense in Hell eventhough nobody there can be trusted.

Personally I believe that the purpose of our lives (humanity in general)is simply to prove to Satan, that sapient souls prefer and will seek out God and Good, even when deprived of seeing God. Someone gave me an interseting thought to consider that perhaps all the sapient souls (some may be animals, some humans, extraterrestrials or even plants)are the rebellious angels who fell, and life is our second chance.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean "rule" as in a "ruling king" or such. Maybe I'm lacking a good word for the concept I was thinking of.

I still like your explanation. emoticon

Yeah, that's a common problem when our tiny little brains try to wrap around complexities such as the cosmos, infinity or God. Our intelligence is both a curse and the key to our ultimate salvation.
