It's begun....


DH got 4 rows of onions planted, got the lettuce bed started, and 4 rows of peas (I think he said 4), in the last 2 days. [sign in to see URL]'t be long before things will start to pick up for my canning season!!!!

Not sure whether to dance for joy, or burst into [sign in to see URL].

Arg! I'm so jealous. I've had so many set backs on my garden this year. The fence isn't done, the tiller is broken and I frankly don't even have time! But it will happen, just later rather than sooner. I have been helping my brother and his wife with their garden though. It is so exciting to grow something from seed. And I plan to teach them how to can this year!

Dance for joy, Saijen, I'm sure you would have it no other way!

Well ...

My gardening amounted to taking away the fir branches from the potted rose I keep on the balcony. emoticon

Still, it's good to see bushes turning green, gradually. I long for the trees to push out leaves.
