What spiritual thing did you do today? Or what did you do to help you along your path?

Bringing this subject back to life!

I spend every day that I can reading devotionals, right now I am reading 'walking the red road' and a 'Witch's book of answers' Both are nice books.

I usually light candles every night and sometimes Incense, I play a lot of music every day and I make sure that somewhere during the day I listen to new age music (Enigma, Enya) or Native American music like R Carlos Nakai who is my favorite, I also spend a great deal of time on Boards like these and reading articles that match my spirituality.

I LOVE Nakai. His flute is so soulful and relaxing.

Today, I took my spirit for an outting of a rather fun nature. I spent the day in Pigeon Forge with my oldest daughter and her girlfriend, and we had an awesome day. It was rejuvenating to be outdoors and playing. And, I truly do mean playing. We played putt-putt and laughed until we cried.

Oh my Gosh, Im so sorry about your sister

I will look into each of those musicians listed as I have never heard of any of them but they sound wonderful.

Today I switched my Altar for Spring, I have lilies (Yellow), Pink roses and Red wildflowers in a Vase, my mom's ashes, 2 white candles, some incense and sage and I added some pine needles representing Spring to me and some Honeysuckle sticks.

Ive been listening to Lynda Carter (Jazz) all day and had the window open to let the cool breeze in, thats my spiritual thing for the day emoticon

Re: What spiritual thing did you do today?

I had a really great day today. I woke up very early (for a change) and did a lot of cleaning. I decided to take a few minutes and dust off my shrine. I changed some of the items on it to represent some of my goals (Peace, wisdom, open mind and love.)

I decided to pull a tarot card and think I will pull one every day. I sat on my circular rug in my nature room to do this. My cat decided to join me, which was very nice. She stepped on the card after I drew it and was very interested in what I was doing. Then I took a look around and swept out and vacuumed and steam cleaned the room. Burned some sweet grass incense to refresh things. (Spring cleaning!)

My books that I ordered came in the mail yesterday, so I am reading 'Exploring the Pagan Path'. So far a very interesting read, thanks for the recommendation.

I also took the dog for a walk, and later took another walk with my husband. REALLY super day! emoticon

You sound like you had a truly brilliant day as well, your Spring alter sounds beautiful, and honeysuckle smells divine!

Here is just one of my [sign in to see URL]: Sundancer

This is Blessed Be by Heather Jinmaku:

And I can not believe I FORGOT John [sign in to see URL] one man in my whole life who has always given Nature a voice!

This is John Denver doing "Boy from the Country" something many of us can relate to I think.... some of the words:
'Cause he called the forest brother, 'cause he called the earth his mother, they drove him out into the rain. Some people even said that the boy from the country was insane. 'Cause he spoke to fish in the creek and he tried to tell us that the animals could speak. Who knows, perhaps they do. How do you know they don't, just because they've never spoken to you?
The boy from the country left his home when he was young. The boy from the country, he loved the sun. And he tried to tell us that we should love the land. We just turned our heads and laughed. See, we did not understand. Sometimes I think the boy from the country is the only one who sees. 'Cause the boy from the country doesn't want to see the forest for the trees. The boy from the country left his home when he was young. The boy from the country, he loved the sun.
