Re: Show and Tell
Dearth, I think it only took her a couple of days to make..she's very adept at making these. I had often thought I'd like to learn how to make them, and give them as gifts, even to my Christian family....and de Corbin...I would call them worry beads...rather than a Witch's Ladder. Can't exactly give something with that name to my Christian family LOL.

I'm not really a 'jewellery person' other than my Pentacle and Wedding Ring, otherwise I'd prob. be keen to make something similar... mind you, I'm happy enough with my 'Little Black Book' - that's my bit of creativity gone wild... that and my interest in ventriloquism (let me know if you want to know more re: that).

That's pretty funny - I've noticed that ventriloquism is making a big comeback.
Have you seen Jeff Duhnam (you must have!)? He gets a bit randy sometimes, but he's hillarious!

Re: Show and Tell
I've never done ventriloquism, but I was a professional puppeteer once upon a time!

Re: Show and Tell
After reading this thread, I got my bead box out and made a watch fob. Not exactly what is being asked for here, but hey, y'all inspired me.

Re: Show and Tell
Cool! I've been inspired to do a lot of things on this forum. One of the main reasons it's my favorite corner of the internet.
Do you actually carry a pocket watch? Especially in this day of cellphones, I rarely see people even wearing wristwatches anymore.

Re: Show and Tell
The kids are watching Jeff Dunham right now....how funny!
Love the watch fob! I have an old watch of my great grandfathers in a little display case and we used a pocket watch of my hubby's best friends to time my contractions while I was in labor with oldest dd. It was very comforting to have and hold and see.
I can't think of anything for show and tell though. LOL
