I tried to take a video of it, and managed reasonable, but the sound quality was terrible, so no sound clips yet.

I found out last night, that the harmonium had not been played for 15 years, and had been stored under junk, in a basement. So now I know why someone would give away such a fantastic instrument.

Shame on those people for not playing such a wonderful musical piece!!! Just your luck, muladzh. My mother would love to see that, I'm sure. she plays the organ, and piano. And that sure is a fine specimen of an old, old organ!!!!

Thank you for the pictures!!!

I rubbed beeswax into it, with linseed oil.. it is taking the glow and shining beautifully - another couple of coats and it will be showroom glossy. I am using 'Q-tips' to clean the intricate bits though it is going slowly - it will look great soon. The sound is awesome - I played Vidor's Toccata, in A min - truly awesome. It is a great workout, playing the loud pieces, pumping away with my feet as I try to get the volume.
