As we approach US Thanksgiving, a decidedly nonreligious holiday whose true meaning lies in eating too much and watching football (well, not really...but...) I've been wondering about many of the holidays we celebrate. So many of them center around religion but there are a key few which are nonreligious. So what's your favorite religious and nonreligious holiday? Favorite other holiday? That's actually a very tough question for me. I'm redefining life, and that also means taking a look at holidays and deciding which are important to me. My most favorite is probably still Christmas / Yule. Not sure what will happen this year, as I also have to redefine those traditions, but I still love the giving.
