Manic???

Well, busy lil beaver hit my house today. Uh...that would be ME, I'm talkin about LOL.

The cleaning bug hit me today I guess. Got up, made the bed, fixed me something to drink then gathered dirty clothes out of the hamper and started laundry. Ended up with 4 good loads. Last one is in the wash now, with one load in the dryer.
I made cinnamon french toast for me and DD for breakfast, then did the breakfast dishes.
I bought a Swiffer sweeper/vac the other day and I LOVE IT!!!!! My floors are cleaner than ever. I use it daily. Today, I got the utility room, kitchen, diningroom, our bedroom and the livingroom, then I mopped all of those same rooms. Unfortunately, the livingroom and bedroom floors ended up with a film on them, so I had to wipe the floors down with a clean, dry cloth. Still didn't get it all, so am considering putting on an old pair of socks and seeing if I can get the rest of the film up.
All of the clothes are being folded or hung on hangers and put up as soon as they come out of the dryer (that's not normal for me generally). DH's work shirts are all knit so they get hung up to dry rather than put in the dryer.
I've still got to put the diningroom chairs back around the table and see about getting the table cleaned off. That may have to wait till tomorrow....

I am starting to feel like I'm running out of steam. It's almost 5pm and I've been going almost non-stop since about 8:30 this morning. I'm truly beginning to feel it in my bones!!! emoticon I sure could use a nap right now!!! LOL

Supper tonight will be something fairly easy. Fried cabbage with either smoked sausage or Polska Kielbasa cut up in it, cornbread and corn on the cob. Last night I made chicken divan and candied carrots.

I've not been on my bi-polar meds now for over 2 weeks, so I'm wondering now if I may be in a mild manic. Most of my manics are productive like this, so it's not inconceivable. I'm just not sure LOL. Guess as long as I don't try to fly off the roof I'm OK. emoticon

Or perhaps you just actually are 'feeling' good, healthy not sluggish and are actually feeling like most women...like doing the Spring cleaning! emoticon

Spring hits a lot of people like that.... Me Too. Did a whole of work in the house that I should have done years ago - maybe I will be able to get it into shape so I can sell it for something.

Queeny, I thought of that too....that maybe it was just being normal. I'm so far removed from normal anymore that I'm not sure what it supposed to feel like LOL.

muladzh....good on you for also getting some cleaning done. I love when I have the energy to work my house over and get it all clean and straightened up.

One thing that has helped me is my new Swiffer Sweeper/Vac. I LOVE THAT THING!!!!! With mostly hard floors now, it's so easy to keep them clean with this thing. It's light-weight and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and it works wonderfully. I can get under the bed, and up under the edges of stuff with it. It's one of my better purchases. One full charge will give me enough battery power to do my utility room, kitchen, diningroom, bedroom, livingroom and den....oh, and both bathrooms. Not bad. The cloths are the ones you get for the regular swiffer sweeper, and they've improved those immensely. Makes doing the floors so much easier for me. Enough so that I usually do the floors every day. There's no dustpan line to try to sweep up cause the vacuum gets all that stuff. The only thing I've found so far that it can't pick up is a rock.
Anyway......maybe it was just me being normal, but like I said, I've not been normal in so long I've forgotten what that is!!! emoticon
