Re: New projects.....
Those are awesome! I loved that little bonnet and the baby blanket is as beautiful as a rainbow...
Love all the tie dyes...those are some great shapes...especially the spiral!

Re: New projects.....
Thanks, all!!
Firle the spiral is very easy, actually. You choose a point on the shirt that you want the inner point of the spiral to begin, then just pinch and twist the shirt into a spiral shape. Hold it there using 3 rubberbands to make a 6 piece pie shape then just put your colors between where the bands intersect. The TULIP dye kits have directions for all of the designs I did. Since these photos, I've fininshed the rainbow baby blanket, complete with ruffly edging and have made a total of 4 bonnets...3 of a different design and just one of the one shown here. As soon as I get my computer back, I'll see about posting some photos of the others.
For the ruffled edge on the blanket, and one of the bonnets, I spent about 8-10 hours cutting and tying 2 foot strands of the yarns used in the blanket, to make my own varigated yarn. It looks so neat, though!!
Fenyx...I brought them all with me and one of the bonnets I made will go to your granddaughter!! I am currently working on another baby blanket in all pink, and if I get it done before I leave for home, she'll get it too.
Ok...I need to get off DH's computer...y'all take care and stay warm! It's cold!!!! I'll be back soon, I hope!!!!!
