Ditto. I do feel like I'm missing out sometimes. But I also feel that my beliefs are right where they should be for the moment. If they weren't, I think I would be having experiences like you guys!

Of course, there are messages every day, if you are aware. A funny thing happened to me the other day when I was riding in a train. I had been thinking about how I'd love to have a new partner in my life, someone to hug me and share my passions.

And up came a billboard with a good-looking man on it, and the words: "I'm looking for you!" Of course, that was advertisement for a dating website, but it sure made me laugh.

Awwwww, Saijen you are definitely not crazy! OR...if you are, we both are. But there are so many who believe it, that it has to be real.

And Firle and TM...I supposedly have had Alara my whole life, I just did not know it. Not until I started to read everything possible on Pagan/Wiccan ways, to really open my eyes to nature...I've always taken pictures, slept outside, hiked, biked and wandered in Nature, but I'd miss many things. Now when I go "walkabout" as Hubby calls it...I see everything...the color of the sky in almost prism effect...every scent carried on the breeze...I see every bug...flying or crawling and every creature...it's amazing how blind I was when I thought I was seeing....
I sing the song that is in my siggy every night before closing my eyes...I thank the Goddess for another grand day, no matter what the day was like, and I fall asleep in peaceful knowledge that no harm will come to me and I will live precisely as long as I need to, in order to do whatever it is I must do.
Son says sometimes we have one spirit guide our whole lives....sometimes we have many at once and sometimes they only come when it's time for you to do something. Some people have one for a certain amount of years and then another will take over...

So do not feel less than loved, for you are truly loved beyond your wildest imaginations and someday when the time is right....you'll have your spirit guide back...

BTW.....when I get all grandiose in my manner of speaking, and comforting ways...that is Alara doing the typing, she is very, very nurturing! I "think" this is what I'm supposed to do... emoticon

Texas and Firle, it may be that you have someone with you, you're just as aware. Sometimes if something comes up and you're thinking...and an odd thought hits you...you may be apt to say "well, now, where in the world did THAT thought come from?".... take a wild guess where that thought came from!!! It's not a fluke thought, it's not off the wall....it's something/one putting some 'out of the box' thoughts there for you.

Queeny, it's not that I don't feel loved...I just miss having that other voice in my head sometimes LOL. Even if there were battles going on in my head at times. and, I know when it's truly needed, there will be another, if not Kiya.

Oh, I do get those random thoughs (though it's feelings more often, remember that time I called the firefighters?). I'm learning to listen to them. And I do notice lots of things. Lately, I've been noticiing people coming up behind me, without *hearing* them. I just know they are there. I also see animals and birds and even think thoughts to them. They often give me a funny look.

I believe I'm getting more *aware* of my surroundings, but it's not the same as a talking voice in my head. emoticon

Queeny, I like Alara...and I agree....very much kindred spirits!

Firle, there is more there than you're giving yourself credit for. And when it happens like what Queeny and I experience, the first thing you'll do is think you're nuts, then think...nah, I'm just thinking those thoughts...it's nothing special. As soon as you get that 'it's nothing special' out of your mouth or thought.....you need to realize that yes, it IS too special..because you're hearing that other voice. It's there...just be aware of it,and eventually, you'll be having these nutty conversations in your head too! LOL. And trust me...sometimes they are extremely nutty!!

It can also be very, very emotional...for sometimes what your Spirit guide 'feels' you will 'feel'.....as with today for instance. I was feeling very 'mushy', even mentioned it on my site, that I had my emo music on.
Then I went to another friends site and found out that one of her members had a grandmother pass away. I personally did not know the grandmother, nor the member, though I have posted with her there. But I did a "online" Pagan Death Ritual. (Actually Alara did) I just typed and added the 3 evergreen boughs and white candles....I also was crying through the whole thing. After I hit post...I went back and made another post, (from me this time) that said that if it upset anyone to PLEASE delete it....there are mostly Christian based folk here...
But what I am saying is that Alara performed this ceremony, she actually was doing the lighting of of the candles and such and I just posted it online to comfort those folks....but because Alara is the one who is so nurturing she does things like this often, and I "feel" her emotions. And it hurts like the dickens at times. Hence the reason I was crying while posting. Son got here and asked me what was wrong and I showed him the topic and he said "they needed that....they needed those words of comfort, and Alara responded and unfortunately you will feel her more and more as you become attuned to what she is, how she is and what your purpose is on this earth."
But I'm still frazzled. It hit me right in the heart like I was standing there over the coffin performing the ritual myself.

So it will take you some getting used to and you will definitely think that at times you are nuts, and at times you don't know if you want to continue...but it's worth it. emoticon
OH and as Saijen said....someday you will try to dismiss one of those "thoughts" and WHAMMO...you will hear distinctly another voice that say's....OH NO YOU DON'T! emoticon
THEN MY DEAR....WELCOME TO THE ASYLUM! emoticon

Queeny....as an empath, I know that feeling you were talking about.
I can feel other's pain, heart-ache and such sometimes to the point I think it will overcome me.
I have cried over people I never met, so many times in my life that it's not funny, and been made fun of. "Why are you crying..you didn't know them, you're just being silly". I'm sorry..but no, I'm not being silly.....I am hurting. It's a shame people don't realize that what is happening is something we simply can not control...and even if I could, I'd not want to. Sometimes, my being able to feel as they do is what is needed to help them get over a hurdle...much like your son said....they needed those words..and since Alara is obvioudly an empath of sorts..and allowing you to feel as she does, then you are also an empath...you just know. It doesn't matter how, or why....what matters is what you do with it...and you did what was needed. It's also a shame that some may be offended because of their Christianity. If they truly know their Bible, they would know that burial/death rituals were performed all the time in Jesus' day. So sad how far away from what is real Christianity has moved.

Today, I've been feeling very meloncholy, but I'm not sure if it's from something happening, or because I think I'm coming down with the stomach flu! (what a dilema, huh? emoticon )...

Firle....when the time is right, things will happen, and it will seem like it's all of a sudden. But, it won't be....you've been being prepped. Just keep that in mind!! emoticon
