Re: Another year, another round of goals
Chop chop girlie! Gotta get stuff done!
Well, things were great today. I went to clean the registers and thought they looked awfully pristine - BIL and walked up and saw the confused look on my face and asked if it was ok that he had cleaned them! YEAH! So all I had to do was some quick paint. They still aren't up yet but that will happen tomorrow...I promise!
And the stucco is being put on hold. We have to have some book cases installed first. So I'm taking it off the list.
Also, the studio project is going to be loooooong and drawn out, so I'm replacing that one too! It's going to take weeks and weeks and I want smaller tasks that I can tackle in a day (like maybe organizing one bookcase, etc).
We have a ton of cleaning to do in several rooms that have collected junk during remodel. So my goals for the next week or so focuses more on cleaning than on getting any actual tasks done. Hopefully after that, I can see what needs to be done beyond the cleaning!
So...
On hold:
3. Pick out stucco and stone for fireplace
Done:
4. Paint and install air registers in living room (90% done!)
New ones:
5. Spend 4 hours in studio
6. Spend 4 hours in garage
7. Spend 4 hours in morning room

Re: Another year, another round of goals
I've actually had to rethink some of mine as well. DH wants to get the guest room cleaned up, but we can't until we can get the file cabinet out of there. I've got to find a way to move that thing without scratching the floor to pieces. It has wheels on it, but I'm scared to death those wheels are going to mar the floor. I may have to use my chair mats (they're bamboo) and roll it onto those. I have 2.
Anyway, I have focused my energies toward cooking, for now. I posted some of the recipes I've tried this week in the "Kitchen" so far, my favorites are the Kielbasa one and the corn casserole.
Things will get done eventually LOL.
