Felt a huge shift

Yesterday morning, I was teaching the second half of my EFT class at a local education center. We were tapping for the son of a particpant, and I was leading the group through the sentences and the tapping points.

And then, the whole world shifted for me. It felt as if it moved, wobbled and then settled back into place with a decisive change, except it was only at the energetic level, not physical at all. Even though I cannot say what the change is, something certainly shifted. Very strange feeling. I'm kind of hoping it was for the son, but it feels a little larger.

Of course, it's also possible that I had a slight spell of dizziness because of my sinus trouble. But ... I'm fairly sure it was something else.

This morning, I woke up feeling happy for the first time in a long time. emoticon

I'm glad you woke up feeling happy. Hopefully the shift was a good thing.

Maybe the shift wasn't for the son, but for you! Don't know what the son was needing, but perhaps some of the phrases you were using also applied to [sign in to see URL] if you didn't realize they did!

The fact that you woke up happy today makes me think the shift was in YOUR favor!!

Good things!!!! emoticon

emoticon Wow, that is amazing Firle. Did it seem like anyone else noticed or just you? I wonder if things like that happen to people and they aren't tuned in enough to feel/sense it?

That's so incredible. I hope things continue to be happy for you!

Thank you, my dear friends.

Yes, I think it was for me. Nobody in the class felt anything, but it was massive for me.

I have managed to edit my novel much better since then, and appointments and opportunities are pouring in. I love it!

As soon as I read your second post, I had this very strong mental image of a "writer's block" shattering! The "writer's block" was a kind of hazy. thick glass shield keeping creativity from flowing freely. It was hard to see if was there until it shattered and the world was much clearer and crisper. I've never really thought of writer's block as a an actual BLOCK before! emoticon

Wow, Texas, thank you! I was hoping for some of you getting a vision of what it was.

Really, it almost felt as if I was falling off the chair, except I wasn't.

Haven't managed any editing today. The EFT session was great, fun and interesting, but I'm worn out. So I didn't push myself.

Firle, that much of an energy shift, I'd imagine, could cause a worn out feeling after a few days. Almost like the down after an extreme high...(much like post-partum [sign in to see URL] somewhat less). Allow your body time to rest, but also hang on to the shift.

Glad that you were able to get some editing done and have a lot of appointments and such coming in. Like Queeny said though, don't allow yourself to get overwhelmed!!

Texas, how cool about the visual! For some reason, I've always seen 'writer's block' as a brick wall that [sign in to see URL] you try to go over it, it gets higher, try to go around it, it gets [sign in to see URL] you finally decide to go through [sign in to see URL] it down.
An exercise that someone told me about one [sign in to see URL] writer's block...
Get a notebook, and just start writing. Doesn't have to make any sense, don't write about anything important...
Do things like
"Jane took the dove for a walk across the electric wires on the leash that was meant for the cactus"....stupid, nonsensical [sign in to see URL] don't try to correct your [sign in to see URL] I put 'on the leash' should have been 'using the leash'...didn't realize it till I re-read it.
For some reason, it helps to jumpstart the creative juices again. At least it helps me.
