Farm getting ready for spring!
I haven't posted a farm update in a looong time. It's going strong. We have excellent caretakers that live and work there full time and do all the chores M-F. We have another couple that lives there as well that take care of the animals on the weekends. And finally, we have anywhere up to 6 "wwoofers" at any given time (volunteers from World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms). So there's lots of activity!
I finally got to see the little lambs this week! They are so cute. The boy looks like he will have "carpet" wool (coarse) but the little girl looks to be soft and fluffy! It's so interesting that their wool can be so different.
Willa also got a ride on Linden's back. He is super fluffy right now as we are just about the sheer them. She LOVED it! I couldn't quite get a picture of her giggling, but it was super cute.
And the strawberries are here! I wish we had more plants but I always struggle to take care of them and protect them from the other critters. So the few we get are very special!
We have lots and lots of seedlings waiting to be put in. Just a few short weeks until official spring planting!

Re: Farm getting ready for spring!
TM, thank you for posting those pictures. They are something to smile at while there is such grim news from Japan.

Willa is so cute on the back of Linden. I can just imagine her giggling the whole way.

Oh...what cute babies....the 4 legged AND 2 legged ones!!!!
And yes, it is so nice to have something to smile about amidst all the horror in Japan. So, thank you for this, Texas.
I'm so glad that y'all finally have good caretakers out there. Y'all have sure gone through a bit to find the perfect people for out there and it sounds like you've finally gotten what is needed!
