Re: Reaping what we've sown...

Queeny, I've heard that said in sooo many places...about things being so behind.

This whole year has been weird. Our flowers started blooming WAY earlier than usual, and the garden started WAY later than usual. The hummingbirds were here later than usual. Everything just seems to be backwards from the norm. I mean..look at the temps up north as opposed to the south. We're hot, but up north, the temps are a LOT hotter than here.....and that's just weird! They're so NOT used to these extreme temps up there. It's like someone has somehow changed the flow of nature and it's almost backwards in some places..... emoticon

We're having a cold, wet summer ... things do seem a bit strange here but not entirly out of the range of normal.

Queeny, I wish your son could teach me!

He's not even allowed to 'teach' me. Only another who is to become another immortal. emoticon

Well that sux, Queeny!!! You'd think he could, since you're the one who brought him into this world! In a manner of speaking!

Could he not teach someone who is not his parent? If someone else could teach you, that would make sense.

I hope he's making some good progress!!!!!

Re: Reaping what we've sown...

I guess his 'job' was to intersect with this one and bring her along.
I was 'chosen' for him because of the timeline needed, and I'd had a couple of miscarriages. So I was the perfect 'host'..so to speak. But he was a 'late' bloomer because it was a rush job (so he had very little memory that came) and I was not even Pagan...that is why he did not start studying himself until he was about 14 years old.
And yes..she is working through her 'mortal/immortal' issues well enough. Just did the Ceremony this summer and is undergoing many changes. Unfortunately, she can and does get confused, and at times wishes she could talk to her own Mother........who is Pagan'ish'..but also I believe a bit psycho as well as menopausal and won't get help on either. And comes down on her daughter.....like she is a worthless piece of !@#$.
I guess I'm sort of surrogate mother to her on occasion, as she has called me, crying and asking why? emoticon

Yeah....she is the reason he 'called' off the engagement to the girl in MN.....when their 'meeting' finally took place, they both knew that the other had been with them before.......many times, they have a Bond of Soul Mates. Pretty much...had to be. emoticon

They have much work to do, in a world that still is prejudicial and unbelieving. emoticon
I do not envy them their role in this Mortal world... emoticon
