We've eaten out a few times...just easier. I've run out of lunchmeat and such, and just did not bother to go get more! emoticon

One day, we went to Wendy's and I got that wildberry chicken salad..OMG....that stuff is to die for!!! I also got a wildberry tea. Didn't do the wildberry lemonade (don't like lemonade)...but the tea was delicious! And I LOVE that salad. I may have to go get one this week....heck..may go get one tomorrow after my dr. appt!!! Goooood stuff!!!

I'm not quite as stupid as some people think I am!!! hehe emoticon

I didn't go get the salad today. By the time I got out of the dr. office, I was worn out, and still had to go to the bank, drug store and Walmart to get somethings for me to eat this week. My appt. was at 10:15 this morning. I did not get out of the dr. office till after 1!!! I was falling asleep in the waiting room.

You do need to try that salad if you like blueberries (already know you like strawberries...LOL). It's really good, and they put an entire chicken breast on the full size one! Not just a few chunks like you usually get at fast food places. I've had a couple of salads from Wendy's that were really good...this is one of them!

I like most all berries! Better to pick em right off the vine, all warm and juicy...but on a salad can be good too.
I loved Cranberry Chicken salad rollups that Arby's had! emoticon

And I read about your doctor appointment...I swear it's a "South" thing. I have NEVER had less than an HOUR wait after my appointment time to get in Las Cruces....
But up North in both Minnesota and in Payette (by my Mom's) never waited longer than 15 minutes. Most often right on time!
And I hate to say it, but the places up North are just 'cleaner'....all round if you know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean. I've never been in this Dr's actual office. He comes to the outpatient clinic at our tiny local hospital once a week and that's where I see him. The hospital has been redone, somewhat, since Wellmont bought it. It was county owned before, so wasn't in the best of conditions. Wellmont has upgraded it considerably, but it's still got that slight 'trashy' look to it in the OP clinic. It's not dirty, but it's just not well kept as far as paint and how the overall place looks. The chairs in the OP waiting room are some of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in, and when you hurt, that's not good. Doctors in the South seem to gravitate toward old buildings that need a lot of work...even in the larger cities. Never could understand that! Usually, if I go for my appt there, I'm in and out in less than 45 minutes, but if I have to actually sit down and talk to him, it takes a lot longer, because I'm not actually scheduled to have any time with him. So....it's basically that he works you in where he can. When I see our FNP, it's rare for me to be in there for more than an hour, total. But....she's in an older building that kinda makes you go ....eh...oooooook... LOL.

Yeah....that's it. Down south it's like they are poorer or something. The office waiting room has 'plastic' lawn chairs (SO FREAKING COMFORTABLE! emoticon ) and things like baseboards and such need a good scrubbing and/or painting.
But when I went to see the 'new' doc up at my Parents....just one of those 'get to know you visits' in case I need a doc during the time we are up there....the place was spotless, soft cushy chairs and I was seen within 15 minutes of my scheduled time.

And this was in an older.....Mobile that they moved to the lot next door to where they are building a NEW hospital! Mom warned me that it might not be all that nice, as it's only temporary and is used by Dad's heart doc also once a month when he comes up from Boise.... And I'm thinking to myself.....WOW, you all think this is bad.... emoticon

I do have to say that I've never been to a doc that had plastic lawn type chairs in their waiting rooms. Most have fairly comfortable chairs, but in many cases, they are stained and just don't look all that great. The chairs in the OP clinic at the hospital are a pretty shade of blue, but are so damned uncomfortable it's not funny. We ALL complain about the chairs. And the waiting room is hardly as big as a 2 bed hospital room. Sure makes it hard for people on cruchtes or in wheelchairs to get around. Wheelchair folks usually end up having to sit out in the hallway!! I think there may be 22 chairs in this tiny space. and the floor...OMG...the floor is so sticky at times. One time, I had on some sandals, and I was so stuck to the floor, I couldn't move!!! My thought was someone had spilled a cola and no one cleaned up good after it. Well, it was time for me to do my urine test (to be sure I'm not abusing my meds or using illegal stuff), and the floor in the bathroom in an exam room, was just as sticky! I got stuck in there...couldn't take a step without losing my sandal. I think someone mopped with nasty water and it had something in it..made the floors all icky. Last time I went, the floors were in better conditioin...but sheesh!!!!

I hear ya!!! Totally have been places just like that.
My back doc, her place or surgery center is not to bad. At least it's fairly new. But she's using a regular hospital bed to do her back injections. She needs a chiropractor bed, one with the 'face' hole in it. Cause she's got you on your stomach, both arms going above your head, along side your head...one with the BP cuff on it, the other with the oxygen pin on a finger.... with a small rolled towel under your chin holding your head up (neck needs work when your back is done!) and you have to be like that for any where's up to an hour. PAINFUL on the neck....I told her so too! emoticon
