Re: Some pictures from Pagan Pride Day 2011
One of the really nice things about being me, is the constant feeling of being different.. The pics look great, but I wouldn't have fit very well there - any capable witch recognizes something about me, and if they don't know me, they get worried.

Re: Some pictures from Pagan Pride Day 2011
What neat photos!! And it looked like the perfect day for this to have taken place!!
I love that huge drum at the altar!! Heck, I love that altar!! I've thought about setting up a new altar. I've not had one since we did the floors.
I'm glad y'all had a good time, but I'm really sorry that your back didn't allow you to enjoy it all the way through!!
Gotta love the wanna-be's, huh? LOL...they be EVERYwhere!! Good thing your 'spidey sense' was in good working order. Or...should that be 'wannabe sense'? LOL.....

Re: Some pictures from Pagan Pride Day 2011
Oh it was a lovely day....temps were mid 70's when we got there and only went up to low 80s and light breeze by the end of the day.
Isn't that drum just gorgeous! That is Sabine (NMSU's horticulturist)and a Shaman/Pagan, doing the drum call to circle....lovely woman. You get all warm and fuzzy when she gives you a hug, ya know?
And yeah...there are wannabe's everywhere and what is funny...last year they tried to 'protest' the day...ended up not making a difference!
