I'm very thankful that, at least at the moment my Mother's aneurism has shrunk and they are just going to do a consultation tomorrow instead of surgery. I'm thankful for making it out of San Antonio alive! I'm thankful for the fact that for the first time in my life, I could partake in the "Christmas" of others, but as myself, yes...they all knew I was Pagan, even the guests. And I saw all around me, signs of 'US' (things that were truly Pagan/Wiccan, scattered all over the house, under the guise of "Christmas")...and it made me smile, knowingly. I was able to be happy for them, and in that their happiness spread it's warmth to me, and my happiness spread it's warmth to them. I am thankful for: this amazing weather!!! We are having a really mild winter. There's so little snow on the ground that we've been able to clear and burn a lot of brush (an endless project). And I LOVE a winter bonfire, and the fact that it lessens fire danger, hopefully, in the spring. Time to write. I think I am going to accomplish my January goals. I'm thankful for in-laws who truly care about me. Not because they HAVE to, but because they WANT to. I'm thankful for the little things in life....3 roses from my DH, a call from one of my kids..... I'm thankful for the animals in my life, who have allowed me the priviledge of caring for them. I'm thankful for the sunshine we've had the last few days!!
