You should see them run! Then they are hilarious! Little tiny legs just flying along, under this round body and that top feather just bouncing like an antenna ball! emoticon

This morning, I saw about 45-50 turkey out in the front [sign in to see URL] were making their first round of the day. They have a 'route' they take, twice a [sign in to see URL]. I love watching them.

[sign in to see URL]'ve always known their schedule. Some of the hens have been here almost as long as we [sign in to see URL] they established this 'route' several years ago. It's just that I'm either still sleeping on their morning round, and doing something else on their evening round... or, if I'm up for the [sign in to see URL]'m doing something else (getting ready to go [sign in to see URL])

That wasn't all of [sign in to see URL] have 2 seperate [sign in to see URL] was the larger group. The smaller group has about 8-10 in [sign in to see URL] they cross paths, but mostly they do their routes at seperate times.

I'm surprised you don't have hunters asking to hunt on the property... emoticon

Re: Wildlife

They know better than to ask. Our landlord prefers that it only be DH, our friend Mike and only those we know really well. Neighbors have asked the landlord previously if they could hunt here, and he's told them [sign in to see URL]'ve learned not to even [sign in to see URL]. I'd pitch a fit if I had to contend with just anyone and everyone hunting here since we have 2 dogs that run the farm.
