Re: March Book: Exploring The Pagan Path

I'm thinking that maybe an extension is in order... perhaps 3 weeks into April, if not the whole [sign in to see URL] start discussion on May 1st. The 3 of you had to wait on your books, plus life doesn't stop just so we can [sign in to see URL]. Do y'all want an extension, and if so, for how long? We can do as much, or as little as needed.

Let's set a "hard deadline" of May 1st - we'll start discussion then whether or not everyone is finished. Then we can all just post in this thread when we ARE done so discussion can start as soon as possible. I'm going to aim for April 15th and I hope everyone else will too!

That looks like a very interesting book. I may buy it for my kindle and read it. Don't know if I can join in the discussion or not, so don't delay for me! But I'll tag this thread and if I can jump in, I will.

Cat, we'd love to have you join in the [sign in to see URL] if you come into it late.

Texas, sounds good to me. Most of us seem to have life stuff happening pretty heavily around us, so yeah, a 30 day extension is warranted. I want us to enjoy the books, not feel pressured to get it read. I'm up to chapter 11 now. I may try to spend the day tomorrow just curled up reading.

Rebecca, I'll need to refer to it often, too, I'm sure. I'm almost done with it. I probably would have had it finished had I not been at the theater just about every day last [sign in to see URL] this week, has just been taken up with drs and 2 days of a migraine, so still got a little more to go before I'm done. So far, it's been an interesting [sign in to see URL] good bit of it I knew, but it helps to see it in writing from people who have been on this path a great deal longer than I have. Kind of validates what I've felt and kinda just knew.

I swear I shall have it finished soon! I've been reading before going to [sign in to see URL] lately I've been so tired, I'm stuck on the same page! emoticon I've got plenty of time this weekend though.

Texas, we still have a bit more than a [sign in to see URL]'ll all get there! I'm not even sure exactly how much more I had before I'm finished. Not a whole lot, but not sure just how much that is lol.

I think we'll get some good discussion from this book. I hope so, anyway!

I am [sign in to see URL] even read through the Appendixes kinda/sorta.

There may be some good material for other book discussions listed, so y'all see what you think, and maybe we can add some of them to the list for future discussions.

Re: March Book: Exploring The Pagan Path

I already own a copy of 'Drawing Down the Moon' by Margot Adler, but never got a around to reading it. I know that was one listed in the back.

I also have a book called 'Solitary Witch' by Raven Silverwolf, but I have trouble taking it seriously sometimes. Anyone have any experience with her books?
