We're going to have to watch the cutworms as well. they get into EVERYthing in the garden! Hate those things. Did a dab of digging....not all is organic or natural, but there are some other good suggestions to maybe try.

Alright, the last of the major 'construction' of the field crops garden is done!!! The rows have all been extended to their intended length and all the irrigation is in place. There are still some future projects I'd like to do (fencing the whole thing and getting the perennial area at the back going) but all in all, the garden is essentially established. Phew!

So I'm starting a new thread which will be more of a gardening journal that I will update each week. Things like what we got planted, what's growing well, etc. Yeah! Do glad to be on to that phase of gardening!
