posticon Hi

My name is Terry, I am a 37 year old guy, I live in Las Vegas with my partner Don, today is in fact our anniversary (1 year).

I am a Naturalistic Pagan. Just in case you dont know, I am a Pagan that worships, honors and reveres The Universe/Nature
and believe that it deserves religious respect and honor, It is Sacred to me, Holy, Divine and everything that exists is interconnected in some way making in reality all of us a part of the Sacred Whole.

I also dont believe in very much of the commonly held beliefs and practices of most Pagans, for that, I may not fit in here that well, only time will tell I suppose but I would love a community so I am here to give it a try.

I do believe in and practice Magic, spirit dance, trancework, cleansings, chanting, creative Visualization, contemplation, meditation and such things but look at them for what they do for me on a psychological level and how they help me in Ritual to connect to my Inner Self or The Universe on a deeper level.

Ritual is my favorite part of being Pagan, I have spontaneous Rituals at night and random ritual days during the year, I light candles and incense, sage and oils and put on some Native American music usually or Enigma or something along those lines and I lay in bed and read and then do whatever I think of, whatever I feel like in that moment.

Well, lets see, besides all of that, I work as a Psychic/Medium, I am a writer as well-Mostly Murder Mysteries and Horror but some other misc things as well, I am owned by 2 cats, Mista Poot and Boo Boo.

Hope I havent bored you to tears...

Terry emoticon

Re: Hi

Welcome Terry! I think you will fit in quite well here!

If it comes to definitions, I probably fit the naturalist pagan path better than anything else. I throw in an element of "atheist" though and don't use the word Divine. But I don't see that as a problem with worshiping nature as an awe inspiring force.

We come in all sorts here and are accepting of whatever your path is, so I'm sure you'll be comfortable.

Look forward to getting to know you better. Jump right in on any of our conversations and feel free to ask any questions. You can always contact one of us admins too through the private message system if you'd like.

Welcome again! emoticon

Hi, and welcome, Terry!!! emoticon Very glad you found your way to our little corner of the internet! As Texas says, we are varied [sign in to see URL] 2 of us feel the exact same way, or follow the same path, and that's perfectly fine with the rest. It's actually how we prefer things. None of us feel that we should all fit into a nice, tidy box with canned sermons and being told how we should or shouldn't live our lives. Your path is YOURS, and that is respected here. Since the inception of this board (Firlefanz and I created this board as a back-up to another board several years [sign in to see URL] board has since had to close), and to date, we've only had a few strong disagreements that were quickly nipped in the bud. We do our best to promote tolerance, peace and acceptance here, so I hope you'll become even more comfortable as you get used to us and the board.

I really look forward to your posts and learning from [sign in to see URL] I hope you also learn from us.

Blessings! emoticon

Hi Terry, welcome on board!

Your life sound fascinating! And I love that you're a writer, too. I find mysteries terribly hard to write, though. emoticon

Do look around, you'll see we really are varied bunch and live quite differnt lives. And yet, we all share a love of nature and a belief in working with energy.

Welcome! emoticon

Re: Hi

Hello and nice to meet you! I found your comment about your cats very funny, as currently my cat is sitting in my lap demanding all my attention. (And yet I type anyway, surprised she puts up with me at all!) I am new here as well, this seems like a nice place to spend some time. emoticon

Welcome Terry! emoticon
[sign in to see URL] on you and Don's one year Anniversary! emoticon
[sign in to see URL] did not bore me in the least, matter of fact I found your intro post very informative, funny and invigorating. I do believe you would fit here just perfectly!
I'm fairly close to your way of [sign in to see URL] Nature is all, and that all in Nature needs protection, love and understanding. I don't hold to organized Rituals, like you... I do them when the moment requires [sign in to see URL] for my nightly meditations. Mostly my music is Celtic and Native American (and of many countries), meditative or believe it or [sign in to see URL] Denver! I know, I know, it's okay to emoticon emoticon
I'm the mush-bucket around here, the one who 'feels' everyone, [sign in to see URL] trying to make people feel loved and special. emoticon
I'm owned by 3 cats, Bandit, Ginger and [sign in to see URL] husband and I sold our house and live in an RV full time. Traveling around, my husband still works from the rig, but he can now do it looking upon the Yellowstone river or Grand Tetons... emoticon
