It's very colorful! sometimes, the small carrots are the sweetest, though...so don't discount their size.

DH got our first 3 radishes out of the garden today. I ate one when I got home from the theater....whoowee...was rather on the hot side....LOL. But sure was good!!!

I hope you can take some pictures of your harvest and post them Saijen! It's so much fun to share what we are producing...even if it's just images instead of sharing the actual goodies!

Here's our first major harvest from the home garden (we've been pulling in single cucumbers for awhile):

5 lbs of cucumbers! One single little squash. emoticon

Goodies from the farm! This may be my last official CSA basket for the year. Our garden is producing cucumbers and squash and soon will have green beans, peppers and tomatoes. So I'll just be 'trading' things with the farm. I'll still make sure to get any odd-ball veggies so I can try out new recipes and such for the CSA customers.

Serranos...yikes, what to do with those?!?

We're still not getting much...just onions at this point, and a dab of lettuce, which we've not picked yet.

I have so many harbs ready to go! But the pill bugs have devoured any seed that germinates, so after a neem soak and a cayenne spray things are finally getting their second set of leaves!

hope all your plants make it, Wandering! It's so hard to make the bugs leave the plants alone!!!

I did use some garden fresh onions in some fried cabbage I fixed tonight for supper. Still not a lot worth getting photos of.

I still haven't used my serranos from last week!

I'm no longer getting the official CSA basket from the farm since my garden is producing about half the same stuff. So I just grab what I want - parsley, green beans and cherry tomatoes this week! But here's the basket anyway (I still take a picture of one that goes out):

Oh, and of course I brought home sweet corn! Forgot that one! It's soooo good! Willa tried it for the first time last night. I didn't even have a chance to show her how to eat it - she just grabbed it off the plate and dug in. It's ALL she ate for dinner - finished her half ear and then begged nibbles off of Mama's and Papa's!

man, those purple hulls sure are purple!!!! Very vibrant, healthy color there!! Those ARE purple hull peas (beans) aren't they?

The green beans look really nice, too. That's a nice bit of goodies from the garden!
