I just finished a trilogy that was very enjoyable.

It is by Kristian Alva...
The books are listed below in order:

Dragon Stones
Return of the Dragon Riders
Vosper's Revenge.

Book one starts out with a young boy (early to mid teen) who is apprentacing his grandmother who is a [sign in to see URL] series is about his life and what [sign in to see URL] people he [sign in to see URL] good and evil....

There is another trilogy coming out next year that will carry on this [sign in to see URL]'m looking forward to those [sign in to see URL] one of that is slated for next [sign in to see URL] other 2 are TBA.

Syrakynn, I think you'd enjoy these books. They did not hold my attention as strongly as yours did, but it was close.

Sounds nice. emoticon

Whenever I see "dragonriders", I have to think of the Dragonriders of Pern, by Anne McCaffrey. I think she was the first to actually paint dragons as partners for humans.

Thanks, Saijen, I'll take a look at those. emoticon

Oh, the Pern books are ancient! You should start with "Dragonflight", that's the very first of the whole series. (And it's a huge series!)

Alternatively, you could start with the Harper Hall trilogy (Dragonsong), but that is set after Dragonflight chronologically.

I do love them, and I reread them about once a year.

I looked them up, and they're kind of expensive for Kindle [sign in to see URL], may have to wait and see if the price comes down. ....they did look interesting, though!

I will definitely look for it!

I love the Dragon Riders of Pern. Anne McCaffrey inspired my desire to write about dragons.
