Just finished the Dryad Quartet

I just finished reading the whole series of the Dryad Quartet by Katie Jennings. It is for young adults. It was a fairly simple, easy read, but very enjoyable. I could see the writer's growth as she moved through the stories. The first book, though my favorite, was littered with smirks. She grew out of that by the last two. A mixture of magic, romance, with a side dish of deception and revenge.

Here is the review I wrote on my blog for the first book.

That's a lovely review! I had to laugh at the charger cord.

And I LOVE the cover! You really make me want to read the series.

The second book was my least favorite. Probably because Blythe is my least favorite character. But still a good story and necessary in order to understand what is happening in the third book.

I need to get the other [sign in to see URL] if I recall, they were a bit pricey, so I was going to wait. Not sure what the deal was with [sign in to see URL], I just went and got the other 3. So, now I have all 4. I'm currently reading 'The Thirteenth Unicorn'

Hmmm. I still have to read them. I've been tempted so often now that I friended Katie on Facebook.

I just downloaded the sample of the quartet, which should give the urge to buy the kindle collection of all four books for $[sign in to see URL], I do like kindle too, Saijen - I have read well over three hundred books since I got mine, in 2011.
