May Chatter

Happy May, everyone!

Did any of you celebrate Beltane? I didn't really, even though I thought about it. But then I was worn out from a tough riding lesson with Lennox. Had to fight him for twenty minutes, before he gudgingly started to obey me. But we did get canter out of a walk, several times, and very smoothly. Woot!

In other news, we're having a few wonderful sunny days with temps still too cold to sit outside. Shame really. I expect more clouds for the weekend, because that seems to be a law of nature. Would love to sit on my balcony and read (was just given a nice mystery novel by a collegue, by Rita Mae Brown).

Blue Harvest Creative have started working on my second ebook, and I have high hopes I can get it published in June. Exciting times!

I'm also really busy creating tools, workshops, free webinars etc. for my EFT work. Fun, fun, but also a little scary. Mid-May I'll teach a free webinar with tapping to get rid of overwhelm. If you're interested, I'll post the link where you can register for it. *wink*

Hopefully, I can run my first paid program in June, the working title is "The Entrepreneur's Fear Buster Program". It's going to deal with fears and insecurities for people who are running their own businesses - I'll teach EFT and how to use it when those fears are blocking rational thought. I just love being able to help people.

Have a great Friday and weekend!

Re: May Chatter

Beltane came with brilliant sunshine and calm weather and I felt the Goddess strongly, so I suppose I celebrated a little. Still waiting for news on three fronts, all connected with the move. I have bought five houses in the past that have not collectively had the stress and frustration this one is giving me.

Good FRIDAY my FRIENDS!
Not sure what today will bring. AS you can see by yesterday things have a tendency to pop up. I know I'm doing laundry now, I'm also supposed to watch the auto sprinkler's as they go off.....and report to hubby what ones still need work. And this weekend I'm hosting Cinco de Mayo at my house. Taco's, chile relleno, Sangria.... Other than that, Saturday putting up some new outside lights on the front of the house.... then we'll 'wing' it!
WELL...after I wrote that first paragraph....everything got busy!
And today has not turned out the way I planned...what else is new!! My sprinklers are still broke and flooding. Neighbor caught me and mentioned it. The people can't come out till Monday....OYE! I swear I'm going to rip out the whole system and water my hand. Hubby won't allow, said this cost big bucks, and will be nice when we travel. Except that I can't trust it to work right when we travel....one we had to manually TURN OFF....it ran for over an hour! Anyhow....having loads of fun!
SO...may you all have a fantastic day and weekend, if I don't see you again before Monday.

I celebrated quietly...mostly I got rid of the old emotions, feelings and let "Spring" forth new growth and energy... emoticon

FIRLE...I'm so proud of you. To think how you were questioning yourself just what...6 months ago. Now look at you! SO PROUD!! emoticon

Muladzh..may the stress and frustration coming from this move, ease. emoticon Let this new beginning for life, be the new beginning for you.. emoticon

Re: May Chatter

Queeny: I fear that doubting myself is still a big part of me. Today was difficult - often happens after a really good day. The details of that package were really getting me down. Mostly because I wasn't sure what to offer for which price. I hope I have a grip on that now after brainstorming with a friend.

Yesterday was wonderful. I got a phone call from a lady who got huge help from my blog articles. I coached her a little on the spot (basically told her to focus on a wish, tap without words and see what comes up. Extremely simple.) She discovered a massive limiting belief that way, asked me whether that was tappable, and I said, of course. Waiting to see what happens next. This little coaching tip changed a whole life.

(Of course, I have no idea how to charge for these things. That was a matter of half an hour on the phone. The value is almost priceless.)

I also got a new client, the first one in two whole months. So I know I'm on a good path.

Muladzh: I'm sending you luck and good energy so that conundrums get solved and all pieces fall into place easily. *hugs*

Re: May Chatter

Hey, all.......a quick post

Things have calmed down somewhat, now that all the set has gotten done, the lobby is done and we have had our 'Family and Friends' night, and 2 shows behind us. Today is an off day..no shows, but I spent the afternoon with my daughter, at her 'grand opening' of her The Pampered Chef business. She's not doing Thirty-One anymore. We had a good time, but I would have loved just the down time.

I'm doing very well with my part. No one can believe it's my first time on stage, which makes me happy. Let's me know I have it in me, should I choose to do more (which I highly doubt will happen). I do enjoy doing some of the back stage stuff. I am only in that one small scene in the first act, so in the second act, I work a fog machine, and help with costume changes, etc. That part I am enjoying...somewhat. I'm going to have to stop being so good at what I do....if there are 5 people in the theatre when I get there, I hear 5 people yelling my name...if there are 10, I hear it 10 times....and it's something different needed by each. A costume issue, wanting to know where blah blah is, cast conflicts, diva issues.....seems to be never ending, but, at least I'm handling it. Sure makes it rough to be IN the cast and have to tend to the cast, too.

I bought a small fridge at a pawn shop to put back stage to keep water for the cast. This way, don't have to worry with ice and coolers. It's on loan for now...if I ever leave, it comes with me....or, if it dies before I go, it'll get replaced.

anyway....got 6 more shows to go.

We had gone to Canton, NC a week or so ago, to look at some wolf hybrid pups, but the mother had hid them, so we didn't get to see them. We were gonna go back today...DH called last night and the guy said she'd only had 3 and he'd already sold all 3. Guess it's not meant to be right now. sigh

I'm tired.....so I'm going to stop here.

I hope everyone is doing well...

Muladzh, I would send you energy, but mine is about tapped out at the moment, and I don't think you need, or want, cloudy energy right now.

Texas, keep up the good work on the garden!!

Queeny, hope you're able to get more planted, and keep an eye on your flowers!!!

Firle, hope you're able to get past the self doubt.....you're one of the most capable people I know, and shouldn't feel unable at all!

All enjoy the rest of the weekend and the week ahead. I'll pop in as I'm able.

Muladzh: You're very welcome. emoticon

Saijen: Wow, you are busy. I'm glad you're enjoying the show, and even being part of it. It's so good you're good at it! That way you can at least do it without cringing. emoticon

Seriously, though, it seems you need to limit your availability a little and put yourself first. And train a helper! Or teach the cast to do some of the things themselves. They need to learn how to do it without you, because if they don't, you'll fall over one day and then they'll be stuck.

Love the idea of the little fridge - that should cut down on running around time a lot!

 emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Today, I'm doing my quarterly lists for the VAT taxes, a task I used to dread (due on the 10th). But this time around it's almost fun because I'm well in black numbers. Yay!

I'm also very clear now on the program I want to offer. I call it "The Entrepreneur's Fear Buster Program", and it comes in two versions:
1) is a simple online version, completely automated through my email service, with video lectures, worksheets and email support.
2) is the same, but with additional three one-on-one 30 min coaching calls with me - and of course, a much higher price.

The good thing about #1 is that I will set it up and that's it. No more work required. And it's supposed to bring in money, just by sitting online and waiting for people to sign up.

And #2 will allow people to experience my work at a point where they are stuck, and really see how valuable my time with them is.

With luck, I'll recruit a couple of real coaching clients from those, which will get three 1-hour sessions a month with me, a group call, email support and forum access (here at Runboard). And they will pay me a monthly subscription. This part is supposed to allow me to quit my day job. I only need 6 of those VIP clients to replace my income and have some extra. Should be doable, right?

So these are my grand plans of upleveling my business into something that will actually create an income.

GOOD MONDAY MY FRIENDS!
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Saturday Roger and I went up to Boise, he likes Cabela's men's shorts, so we stopped there and then hit the Wild Birds Unlimited and some very Unique (or hippy) shops....then stopped at a Farmers market and meat smoke shop...picked up white sweet corn and smoked/BBQ rack of ribs. So that when we got home.....fired up the grill, grilled the corn, reheated the ribs and dinner was served! Then Sunday, cleaned house and had Mom and Dad over for Sangria and Taco's and Chili Relleno's casserole, and Tres Leche cake...ALL IN ALL a good weekend. ♥ Now, today catching up on laundry, and WAITING for the Sprinkler people....again. Anywho.....you all have a good day.

FIRLE...that program sounds like the perfect solution! I shall keep you in my thoughts that it works out exactly like you think its' supposed to! emoticon

SAIJEN....I know you been VERY busy! And you best keep your energy for yourself, you need it more than any of us.. emoticon
And don't worry....when the time is right, the right wolf pup will be yours. You know how that works.♥

Queeny: All the best for the sprinkler people, hope it finally works out!

I'm enjoying the first warm days - it's supposed to get colder on Thursday which is a public holiday - figures. I'm taking Friday off and hope to really get cracking on my program. Wrote out all the things I have to do for it yesterday, so I can get started today.

I'll also have a client session this evening, hoping I can help her.

I received a session yesterday, and it is already making a huge difference. We worked though an old memory of a huge betrayal, and I never realized how much it had impacted my life. So now I can do things very differently and that feels wonderful.

I just love EFT. emoticon

GOOD TUESDAY MY FRIENDS!

Gorgeous day out. Hubby has to call the sprinkler people this morning, as they NEVER showed up yesterday. So, I get to sit and wait for them AGAIN.....I would change company's, unfortunately there are not many who do the actual repair. Many who install (the expensive part) and many who do the winter blow out and Spring start up, but barely anyone who does the repairs. (the pain in the butt part!)...Other than that not sure what today will bring. Had a couple of small thunderstorms roll through last night. Our temps really took a jump..from 60 on Saturday....to 83 today (more thunderstorms predicted), and 91 by Sunday! Spring came and went and Summer has arrived...

FIRLE...so happy you had a block removed. And the world is looking even more stunning!♥
