Re: New Toy.
Awesome.....glad that the learning curve is not to bad.
I remember the first time I rode a two-wheeler behind hubby..(never been on a bike with an engine in my life)...he had to tell me to "lean"...then instantly said..."NOT SO MUCH!'

Re: New Toy.
On two wheels nobody needs to lean - the bike will do that all by its self - on this three wheeler the only reason you have to lean to use centrifugal force to keep you in the seat - if you don't lean into the corners you tend to slide sideways. Potentially at speed, this could throw a lightweight pillion off the bike.. But you would have to be moving very fast.. Without leaning into the corners, it is a tad uncomfortable - but just leaning over as you go round a corner makes the ride more comfortable.. Your butt stays in the seat.

Re: New Toy.
I'll remember that, but of course I'm definitely NOT a lightweight!

Re: New Toy.
I have to say that the thing is a LOT prettier than these photos can make it look!! It's a really pretty red...not as orangy as the photo looks...it's a gorgeous deep red!! And the seats do look very comfy! Nice and thick....loads of padding!
Heck...I even lean when I'm driving a 4 wheel vehicle, when going around a corner/curve. I've always done that.....habit!! Helps me keep my balance, and not pull to "right" the vehicle.
I know you and Frog will enjoy this for years to come!!

Re: New Toy.
We rode to the cabin today, on the twisty 347.. Frog liked it so much she asked me, as we wove round a left hander,if we could go to Maine, and ride the coast road... This is the girl that did not like riding.. She wants us to ride there, spending nights in hotels..
This Spyder is a magical machine to get Froggy to want to go to an hotel..
