Re: October Gabbing
WOW! What a mess that was but glad it resolved!
Glad all of that part is over and you are on to the recovery phase. As frustrating as that is likely to be, it will be over before you know it.

Re: October Gabbing
Good Tuesday my Friends!
Well, had my shower and have the first batch of bedding in the washer. Cold, cloudy and kind of spitting rain. Good day to stay in and get some work done. Or not...LOL I do have to go out one of these days and pay the RV storage rent. Other than that.....should be online off and on most of the day.
Mom just called...she said she had to talk to me when Dad was out of the house (so he would not hear her)...she wanted to know if Thursday when we take them to the neurologist, if when we dropped them off at the front of the hospital, if I would get out with Mom and Dad, and let Hubby find a parking spot. She is actually afraid, that he may go completely down on her. And she could not hold his dead weight. I knew he was bad...I guess I just never realized HOW bad. But, I told her that I have her "Worry-wart" gene, and had already thought of that! LOL I said, if nothing else I could hold him, while she went to grab a wheelchair. (DAD will NOT just automatically have us get one. And we have to go to the 10th floor for his neurologist)... She got a laugh out of that...anywho...I hope you all have a great day.
FIRLE...that is enough of a mess to test anyone's resolve! So glad you are home now...

Re: October Gabbing
Muladzh: I have a flexible cast called a Gilchrist support. I can take it off, but it fixes and supports my right arm quite nicely. I'm supposed to wear it for the next four weeks.
TM: Thanks. I was feeling a bit lonely and depressed today, but then I managed to get to the dr's office all on my own and that felt good. GP is quite happy with how it looks.
Queeny: All the best for your Dad. Hope they can help him.
I'm going to apply for a helper - insurance may pay for it.

Re: October Gabbing
Busy day today. Went on a shopping tour with my ex-husband.
So now I have two "jeggins" to wear. They look a lot like jeans, but have an elastic top so I can pull them on with one hand. Wonderful sales lady took great care of me.
I also have a new set of PJs. Yay. Now I just have to figure out how to hang my laundry with one hand. (No dryer.)
Four hours of moving through stores was exhausting.
