GOOD MONDAY MY FRIENDS!

HI DI HO AND GOOD MONDAY MY FRIENDS!
Well, this weekend was work weekend at Mom and Dad's. Hubby replaced their plumbing (faucets and diverter) in Mom's small bathroom. Meanwhile, I dug up her old dead roses, (5) and the rototilled the soil, and planted a bunch of Dahlia bulbs. They will look good next year. Sunday we worked here. Hubby dug up and fixed an irrigation line that was leaking, while I cleaned the house. Then we had dinner out with Mom and Dad. Today I have laundry to do, and hubby bought me 6 perennials I need to plant. And I'm removing a couple more Roses, that are healthy and giving them to Mom to replace a couple more dead ones she has in the front. SO ANOTHER BUSY [sign in to see URL] looking out my window. I think we may be in for some thunder, getting dark. But between storms, and [sign in to see URL] might get things planted! LMAO HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY!

MULDAZH....hope you ended up doing something fun...
I do post, often times by myself. But I keep posting even if sometimes I think it's boring to post what I might do that day. But I do want this place to seem [sign in to see URL] case we get some passerby's. emoticon

Happy Tuesday!

I'm finally recoverd from having a visitor. emoticon

When I'm worn out, posting feels like a massive chore - and I have plenty of things that simply MUST happen for my business... so I slog through them first.

Today, it's good. I already got tomorrow's blog post and newsletter set up, and my energy is high. That is a very good thing.

Muladzh: Hope the crickets will remain silent until eaten by spiders. I have a little host of spiders taking care of all invadors. emoticon I had a ride in a Prius once, and it was okay. My driver was forever flipping switches, though.

Queeny: You are busy! Hope you got things planted. Weather looks like it's going to rain, but it's almost warm. Good spring growth weather, but I want to get home dry.
How's your dad?

Becky: Hope you had fun! And just think ... soon you can play all day! YAY!

Back to work. Tricky stuff, need to pay lots of attention...

Today is good day, sun shining, birds chirping, and nothing annoying me. We have to go shopping again today, so a visit to Johnson City and Earth Fare.

FedEx arrived early, before we opened the gates - the driver opened them, properly, and put the chocks in to keep them open. I wonder what life without daily packages is like. We get deliveries at least four times a week, and collections two or three times a month. It is handy knowing all the UPS and FedEx drivers. We get on pretty well with the post lady.. she chats every time she comes up the drive.

HI DI HO AND GOOD TUESDAY!

Sorry it took so long to get here today. I'm washing up bedding and cleaning bathrooms. I'll dig up the last Rose that is going to Mom tomorrow afternoon. She did not feel like messing with them today. It is windy and not very nice out. So no problem, I'll hopefully be able to do [sign in to see URL] my back specialist appointment. Have to be there 30 minutes early. Meaning I have to be at the Spinal Institute at 7:[sign in to see URL]...*Faints* LOL For today, finishing up the bedding, and resting [sign in to see URL] all my perennials planted here yesterday and had a nice dinner out. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY!

MULDAZH...it is very good knowing the drivers! We have to get ours to at least ring the doorbell before he dumps and runs! I've had packages sit out there all night on the front [sign in to see URL] he delivers here at about 7pm... emoticon

FIRLE....you are a very busy woman! So glad you recovered from your visitor! emoticon
Dad is no better. Still not getting around, and that [sign in to see URL] nothing. Maybe helped his [sign in to see URL] it's barely noticeable. Nothing at all for his legs. I see a spinal specialist tomorrow [sign in to see URL]'m hoping he's better than Dad'[sign in to see URL] my Dad can then go see him..**FINGERS CROSSED* for both of us. emoticon

FedEx Air delivers before ten in the morning, Ground delivers before seven in the evening. UPS delivers between four and seven, later in Winter, and USPS delivers before four thirty. We are not fond of FedEx ground as the quality of service through them is abysmal - they have damaged more packages than they have delivered in good condition. Crazy.

Did shopping in Johnson City, spent less than a hundred and got everything we went for - that cannot be bad

Re: May's Marvelous pre-summer chatterbox.

I woke up in the night to the sound of heavy rain. This is a good thing, it has been dry for two weeks, and nature needs the rain. Trees have greened massively almost over night - must have been waiting for water. I'm grateful most of the rain came at night, it meant I got to work dry.

I just realized I promised a crit to a member of another board and forgot about it. Eeek. Will do it tomorrow. And I need to send her my story, for feedback. I need better systems to keep track of things I promise and then forget...

Life is good, though. Today I have two sessions with my clients (hope that one of them will continue after this one-month package). Both are doing great. Love my work.

Morning everyone. Man I could have gone right back to sleep when the alarm went off at 3:45 this morning. Not moving too fast yet either. But I need to get to work. Hoping for a quiet day, no boss so that will help. Enjoy your day everyone. I'll be back when I can.

GOOD WEDNESDAY MY FRIENDS!

Well, that "back specialist" appointment was a waste of my time. I have an "80" year old back. From my mid back (thoracic) all the way down to the bottom of my lumbar, the fibrous cushion discs, which separate the hard, boney [sign in to see URL] flattened. At least 4 of them are gone. So leaving bone grating on bone. Which causes the muscles surrounding them to inflame, this is where the pain comes from. And there is nothing that can be done. Except, [sign in to see URL], even if it does hurt (like I don't get enough of that!!)....SO! It's what drugs I have and a lot of MIND OVER MATTER.. [sign in to see URL] I can tell you, that was one condescending SOB of a doctor. AND he was late. I was the very first patient he had and I was 45 minutes late, by the time I left they were bringing in more chairs, his waiting room was so full. Get [sign in to see URL] schedules 7 minutes for each patient! WHO THE HELL CAN DO THAT?
I overheard people saying, that it is ALWAYS 1 to 2 hours late. Well, not for me, won't be going back. [sign in to see URL] is the SECOND doctor from the SPINE INSTITUTE OF IDAHO we've dealt with. Dad's doctor is from there as well. And we know he has never been on time, never returned Dads calls, even from Dad's regular [sign in to see URL] up that neck shot, by forgetting to tell Dad to stop his Warfarin 4 days prior, oh and that shot in the neck he finally did [sign in to see URL] he saw his regular doctor today and come to find out, it was supposed to be IN THE [sign in to see URL] the side of Dad's neck! NO wonder he got no [sign in to see URL] place will NEVER see any of us again! Oh and I went online to "HealthGrades" a place where you can rate doctors and both mine and Dad's got the worst ratings possible, and a nasty review!
So on with my day. Going to dig up 2 more of my Roses, then tomorrow when it's nicer out. I'll transplant them over at Mom'[sign in to see URL] least getting my exercise. Oh and Dad wants me to use the rototiller and mix cow fertilizer in his [sign in to see URL] FOR [sign in to see URL] digging the roses later. SO I SHALL SEE YOU AROUND! emoticon

Re: May's Marvelous pre-summer chatterbox.

I am not surprised you didn't get any satisfaction from the doctor - they are mostly all arrogant sods who seem to resent the intrusion patients give them. I saw two for my kidney stones, and both were arrogant, better than everyone kind of people. The urologist actually assaulted me by hitting my kidneys hard enough to knock me off the bench. As I weigh more than most folk, that hit was hard. The pain nearly knocked me out.. I have since found out that such attacks are common - the damage they can do is massive - it is possible to rupture a blocked kidney with that amount of force.

Today was pretty good, got the garbage run done, visited with friends for an hour, then came home and did nothing. I don't like doing nothing so did not enjoy it much. We are just waiting for the windows - maybe two weeks from now, maybe earlier.

Squirrels are invading right now - many of them are making a nuisance of themselves, sufficient for me to zero my air-pistol - they have been in the engine bay of the truck and the mower - where they can potentially cause huge damage.. I will try shooting a few of them, though I don't like killing things in the most part, but I don't like vehicles catching fire either. Animal damage to vehicles often ends with a fire.

We tried taking the starter motor off the pickup today - but the person who last touched the thing tightened it so much the bottom stud come with the nut, and the top nut would not move, no matter what I did. So we didn't get the thing loose. This means a visit to the repair shop again, and another two to three hundred bucks waisted on a job I should have been able to do myself. I truly hate the slap happy way places work on vehicles nowadays - torque wrenches are supposed to protect against over-tightening, but I never see a mechanic using one any more. It would be nice to have a huge workshop with a lift, then I can do everything myself - but back yard mechanic operations are not something I enjoy - can't get at things properly, laying in the dirt, trying to see things. Oh well, it is only money.

Re: May's Marvelous pre-summer chatterbox.

Queeny: Sorry for having to deal with that idiot. Now you know which school to avoid ... sad, that.

Muladzh: Hope you can get the truck fixed. It's annoying they didn't do a good job with it. Hope the car place can fix it.

Weather has stayed rainy, and predictions have shifted to include rain, rain, rain on the weekend. I'm a little annoyed, I wanted some sun to sit in on my balcony. (Can't do that on weekdays, because the sun is almost around the house when I get home from work.)

When I came home from work today, I went straight to bed and slept for three hours. Sinuses are improving, at least. I added thyme tea, which seems to help a lot.
