Queeny: All the best for you Dad, and hang in there today.

We're now supposed to get some rain tomorrow and Friday - which is good, we need it. Heading to the final long holiday weekend of this year, with a good weathe forecast. Spring is nice like that here in Germany, but we're using up all the public holidays in a mere two months. Next one is October 3rd, and then Christmas. Long stretch with no breaks other than the ones I take myself.

Today, I'll have the interview for the telesummit! I'm preparing a couple of notes for the questions we're going to go over (I created them to guide us through the interview). Trying not to be too excited - but there is a lot hinging on that one.

Re: June's Jolly Jumping Summer Chat Fest

The interview went very well! It took a big effort - in fact, I got quite a scare when I finally managed to connect to her chat room through Skype: she wasn't there.

Turned out a storm had taken out her phone and internet, and she was already setting up shop in her neighbor's office.

So we started 20 min late, and I had calmed down by that time. We got through the interview very nicely, I did a generic tapping round and had plenty of time to promote my freebie and program. It feels very good.

I am still exhausted now, this took a huge amount of concentration and focus, mostly because it's so hugely important for me. It could very well be the breakthrough moment for me on the web and as "EFT expert".

All the information for the summit will go online next week, and of course I'll let you all know how you can listen to that interview. The summit will be free for everyone.

I'm soooo glad I grabbed this opportunity two months ago, when Helen first posted about it. And I'm quite excited about the potential of the whole thing.

That is wonderful, Firle. I look forward to more news and stuff..

It is too darned hot here right now - ninety two today in Knoxville - that is the nearest Trader Joe's and that is where we get quite a lot of things not sold anywhere else.

We are stifling in the house, just couch potatoes sitting in the air of two fans, just to be able to breathe. Sleeping is much the same - no covers, just laying in the air of two fans.. The windows are going to make a tremendous difference; just being able to get the hot air out will be fantastic.

Muladzh: Hope you'll have the windows on Saturday! I know what a huge difference it makes when you can open them during the night, to bring in cool, and then close them for the day so the house won't heat up. That's my hot summer mode, and it works quite well. Of course, the house has thick brick walls and it takes a while for it to heat up, or cool down.

Things will be mostly quiet for now, that interview was the last big thing for my EFT business for now. I will try to find the energy to turn my 21 day challenge into a self-study program.

And with luck, I'll be releasing my short story collection end of June. Hoping to see a cover end of the week. emoticon

For now, the focus is on healing, gathering strength and realigning. Feels good.

Re: June's Jolly Jumping Summer Chat Fest

Yesterday, I spent two hours at an optician, getting my eyes checked and selecting new glasses. I'm happy with the ones I chose. They will be ready in about 10 days.

It's a good thing I went. One of my eyes has changed by 0.5 diopters, which is enough to strain it with the current glasses, giving me a headache. So one source of them is getting eliminated. Yay.

It also rained a lot, but the rain was nice enough to stop when I left work. One huge squall came through right after I got home dry and safe. Weather is nice to me. Now it's sunny again and they predict a weekend of sun and heat for Germany. We'll see what happens - heat isn't really a huge factor up north here.

I'll do two EFT sessions in my afternoon, and then it's weekend! Will see what I choose to be productive with.

Re: June's Jolly Jumping Summer Chat Fest

I wonder if there will be windows tomorrow. We have heard nothing from the man, which could mean anything - if they are lost again, he wouldn't call because he is worried what we would say, and if they are on schedule he wouldn't call, because he doesn't think he should. It will be interesting to see if they do actually arrive, or not. If not, I will be seeking out the man for my money. As I have his fingerprints, dna, driver licence number, address, and vehicle registration number, I shouldn't have too much difficulty finding him.

It started up sunny today, with clear skies, so maybe another hot one - yesterday got over 90 for a short while, and we sweltered in the stuffy house.

Re: June's Jolly Jumping Summer Chat Fest

HI DI HO GANG...sorry quickie here.

Dad was in a much better mood yesterday. Even up to giving the nurses a hard time! Which is a good thing. He won't be released for a couple more days, then they probably will transport him down to Boise to Elks Rehab, for one to two weeks. Then transport him home, and do in home rehab for another [sign in to see URL] is holding up really well. Not having to drive the city probably helps and it's not the first surgery she's had to go through with him.
This hospital is only 30 miles one way. Once they transport him to Elks Rehab that will be about 55 to 60 [sign in to see URL] way, and in DOWNTOWN [sign in to see URL] hate driving there!
Then after a week, possibly two weeks there, they will transport him home and do In HOUSE [sign in to see URL] another month or so. He has a whole different way to live and move to [sign in to see URL] therapy lady said he needed to make a goal for himself. He pointed to me and said, "my daughter is keeping my garden growing, and she told me I had to be able to WALK out and pick my own dang tomatoes by August! Or she was going to wheel me out there and leave me!" The therapist, just laughed and [sign in to see URL] is a very good goal!! emoticon
But Mom and I knew he was doing better when he asked us how long he was in surgery, and we said just a bit over 8 hours, and he said, "they were not cutting on me that whole [sign in to see URL]'ll bet they were playing dominoes."
[sign in to see URL] is my Dad. emoticon
[sign in to see URL]'ll catch you all up when I [sign in to see URL] it's going to be a loooong recovering Summer for us all, me thinks. Have a wonderful day where ever you all are. LOVE YOU for keeping us in your thoughts.

[sign in to see URL]'s [sign in to see URL] DARK is all metal. And he is now 1/4 inch taller..*ouch*
They opened him up Front and Back...

Re: June's Jolly Jumping Summer Chat Fest

Interesting xrays.. Hopefully all is good. Down town Boise is not a very nice place to drive - I know the grocery Coop, and a health shop - that is about it.. I have been lost there a couple of times.. When we pass through there we usually stay at the RV park ten miles north of there..
