Thank You, I enjoy reading - I may send you some of mine, if I dare.. emoticon

Today is good, managed not to hurt anything or eat wrong foods, so all is good.

It is raining today, after three days of glorious weather. I did not ache at all for three days, wonderful, but the aches are back with the rain and dropping temperatures.
Froggy has planted roses - eight bushes of fragrant varieties, so we will have rose scents - something hybridisation took from them
We are going to Asheville next week, to do some shopping, it will be interesting, only been there once since the wheelchair.

*hugs* I'll get them to you tomorrow.

Give Asheville a wave from me. I did enjoy that town, and of course, your company.

Re: Things in life

I wonder if spring has arrived yet, or if the weather has some frost yet to come. Here is peculiar, one day winter has its teeth into us, the next, spring arrives, almost like summer temperatures just arrive, and that is it. But usually there is a false start, for a few days, then winter flexes its muscles again.

A compulsory visit to a neurologist resulted in he finding me fascinated, and telling me that the detail in my medical record seemed to him to be lacking in one condition. It would seem, according to this fine fellow, that I have all of the hitherto mentioned conditions, but one unmentioned one is relevant - that of Apraxia, or more specifically Motor Apraxia, as the bona fide commands given by conscious effort are being disobeyed by the musculature.

I decided the man was really an idiot, and shall resist adding that condition to my already bulging list of problems.

Of the medical profession, I regard the neurologist as the least knowledgeable of the bunch, as the majority of conditions they witter on about are completely secret to them. The do not know sufficient about the conditions they label people with.

I imagine that the man heard he was going to see the famous one that did not die, and he felt compelled to add something to the pot. He may have sat enthralled at his desk, obscure journals open as he searched for something that could add his genius to the description of the man who did not die.

If the term ' the man who did not die ' is unfamiliar to you, I shall explain:

The always fatal dosage of Carbon Monoxide is 160 parts per million in the blood stream.
I suffered 334 parts per million, not for a few hours, but for six days. It should have killed me in three hours, but failed to do so. Hence ' the man who did not die '

I'm glad you did not die. emoticon

As long as you can have fun with those compulsory visits, they are less bad. Poor ego-driven neurologist...

Sorry about the books. Too much on my mind... but I am going to get them to you.

Sounds good. I've been thinking of another place called we share or something (it's what a friend uses, and the file vanishes automatically after the download).

Will take care of that before Saturday (when I go on vacation).
