Queeny: [sign in to see URL], I don't know for certain what happened, but this is what my heart tells me happened. I drank so much that I passed out. Somehow, I slept on that mossy cliff all night safe and sound, without so much as a mosquito biting me....
The morning sun slipped up and right into my eyes. I awoke, sat [sign in to see URL] that sunrise, smelled the earth warming, listened to the animals awakening, heard the rustle of the wind in the [sign in to see URL] I KNEW right then and there, that I loved Nature too much to die; that Nature loved and protected me, and that I could feel full filled by Nature alone! I wanted more of it, I wanted to protect it, be in it and I wanted my Husband to enjoy it [sign in to see URL] I had a lot of changing to do.

That is proof that the Goddess cares... You are a Pagan, beloved of the Goddess.

Blessed Be!

I read that post of yours with sorrow, but great happiness in the fact that you are here, saved from your self, by the Goddess. Before anyone complains of my claiming such as the Goddess's work, I know that Nature, Mother Nature and the Goddess are all the same.

It is sad that you came by such a tortuous path, to that realization.

Thank you muladzh, I shall take that as a compliment. emoticon

Is it really, though. I mean without that part of my life, I would be a different person, would I not? emoticon
As much as I dislike that time in my life, and as much as I hated the person I was [sign in to see URL] made me who I am today.
Without those "trials" I might not be as sympathetic to those around me. emoticon

That really is the way to look at everything that happens. We are molded into our present self by the circumstances that preceded now, and everything that happens makes changes to the way we do things. I have had some pretty unpleasant things happen to me, but every one has helped make me the person I am now.

Ah Queenie - I'm just now reading this.
 emoticon for you.

I'm sure glad you didn't roll down the cliff, but I bet it sure was wonderful waking up to the realness of the sunrise and the sounds.

And I'm still considering myself a Christian, but not going to any church right now.

As you know I have an affinty with porches and cabins and TREES! A house without a big tree is worthless and if you have one - go plant the largest tree you can.

Oh well,
I'm glad you followed Firle, Queenie.

Fenyx

PS: I've only read this page of the thread, so if nothing makes sense, that's why.

Muladzh, [sign in to see URL]'s how I sort of look at things too.. emoticon Besides, you might as well accept things and go with the flow, not much you can do anyways... emoticon

emoticon Don't worry dear, most times even if I read the whole post, I'm confused! emoticon

I'm glad I followed her here too... emoticon

And I am with [sign in to see URL] the big trees. And a house is not a home without at least one tree and a porch big enough for 2 rockers! emoticon
