Tarot

This card is from the Pagan Tarot Deck by Gina Pace. I've started with the Fool. We can also discuss reverse meanings if you would like. I am starting at the beginning with

The Fool

Re: Tarot

Just from LOOKING at the card, it seems as if the FOOL is reaching out blindly, even with it's FAMILIAR there.

Reading in my book that came with one of my Tarot decks, it's very different from what I perceieve. I won't post what the book says, so as to not influence anyone else's view.

I guess I needed to add to this...so here goes.

The FOOL is reaching out blindly, but going forth, regardless. It's relying on it's FAMILIAR as a sort of guide, but knowing that regardless, they are going to "walk on". Walking toward unknown things, but with the wish to gain knowledge, acceptance and security. The thought process is to reach and learn, even if not in the best of ways.

Re: Tarot

I apologize for the bad picture. I need a new digital camera. Maybe for my birthday next month eh?

Here is my interpretation of the card. Its my personal one and not from a book. This also applies to the Rider-Waite Deck which I learned with.

The fool is innocent, naive like in thinking. They take off for their journey in life without any worries nor concerns. In this deck the woman is out in the dark walking down a path with only the light from the stars and a cat to guide her. She has her arms reaching out as if to feel in the dark or take in the sensations of the situation. This card represents blind faith as well, to start out on something new and to trust your self and the Divine.

Reversed:

Doubts, mistrust, unhappiness and concerns; not sure where you are going in life or how you will get there. You can't see the path. Need to open ones eyes and see.

Re: Tarot

The fool reminds me of a child not sure of their path but trusting and forgiving.

Willing to take a chance on the unknown.

Open to the new and different.

Full of life and the joy of living it.

Reversed the fool is guarded closed off.
