posticon Singin the Garden Blues

We've had so little rain that my garden is slowly dying before it should. We got the irrigation system set up, and it worked great for a bit, then the pump decided to die on us, no water. Being on a well, we can't water the garden like it'll drain our well (been there done that!). Last night and today, we're getting little spritzy showers, but it's not near enough. I've only canned 22 quarts of green beans this year, as opposed to almost twice that last year. My cucumbers aren't doing well at all, nor is my cabbage. I guess we'll just have to be satisfied with what we DO get this year and hope for better rain situation next year. emoticon

Blessed Be,
